ABOUT ACURA:

Since 1986, Honda Motors has been releasing its higher end vehciles under the badge "Acura" in the United States with a great deal of success. Acura vehicles such as the entry level RSX and before that, the Integra, have been hot cars in the import tuning industry. With the popularity of the Honda Civic as the number one import tuning vehicle, its no wonder that its Acura counterpart known as the Integra, slots in right underneath the civic in products availible for the vehicle. In 2002, the Integra was replaced by the RSX, a sporty coupe that exhibits agility, craftsmanship and affordability while holding the Acura namesake up on its pedestal.

Other vehicles from Acura include the Legend which was the Japanese auto manufactures top end luxury sedan. The Legend survived two generations before being replaced by the RL, which itself has gone under two generations. In 1991, Acura unveiled the Vigor, basically a luxury vehicle built on Honda's popular Accord platform. The Vigor was eventually replaced by the TL and is currently in its second model designation. Since 1991, Acura has been the only Japanese automotive manufacturer to offer an Exotic car that can compete with the Ferarri and other european sports cars in that class. The NSX has gone relatively unchanged since its inception with only minor facelifts in 1995 and 2002 to its credit. The NSX will go out of production next year and is likely to be replaced near the end of 2008. Lastly, Acura recently released a sporty sedan known as the TSX, that slots in above the RSX and below the TL in price factor. This car is aimed at competing with the likes of the BMW 3 series and Lexus IS 300.

Tips:

Before you purchase your body kit or during shipping time, it is a good idea to make sure that you have a qualified installer for your body kit. If you are purchasing a fiberglass kit, it is especially important to find one that can specifically deal with the alterations that may be required to fit your kit correctly. Fiberglass kits in general need some finishing work during installation, such as sanding, primering, filling pinholes/gaps, trimming or shaving. Many times, our customers are charged more than they should if they use a shop who is not familiar with altering fiberglass because of the additional time involved.

Also be sure that whoever is recieving the kit inspects the contents of the box before they sign for it. Although most shipments are recieved undamaged, it is possible that your shipment may be. Because we are not in control of the freight company and thier policies, you must inspect the kit before you sign for it and if it is damaged either refuse the kit and note it on the delivery invoice so that we can file a claim for you.
