2005 Ford Mustang Body Kits

The 2005 Ford Mustang is at the forefront of the Muscle Car era in a much more fitting time where technology can fuse with timeless styling. Added to that is the current trend of aftermarket tuning and exterior styling accessories making the Mustang one hot item. The new Ford Mustang takes on a bold new look that is both modern and stiking, yet borrows styling cues from past eras of the mustang culminating in a complete transformation of all that the Mustang has created over the years.

Although the new Ford Mustang has just recently been released, top exterior styling specialists have already begun to develop new aerodynamics kits. Probably the body kit for the new Mustang that is recieving the most press is the 3D Carbon 10 Peice body kit which consists of a front bumper replacement, rear bumper replacement, four side skirts and four fender flares to widen up the stance of the car. 3D carbon also offers a second kit for the 2005 Mustang as well, although at this time more details are not availible.

After a good run with the Demon Kit, APC (American Parts Company) has released a new 2005 Ford Mustang body kit known as the GT. This is a four peice kit made of poly urethane. The construction and fitment is good and reasonably priced at around $900 after shipping. The APC is more aggressive than the clean looks of the 3D carbon kit, and definately adds the aftermarket look.

From Cervinis, the innovators of the cowl inducted fiberglass hoods, comes a new kit called the C3000. This kit comes in several options including one that will give your mustang a full facelift. For a mere $12000, you can have your car completely retrofit with an Eleanor style body kit complete with wheels, tire package, hood, billet upper and lower grills, foglights, front bumper, rear bumper, valences and of course paint and installation. VIS Racing has also released three new carbon fiber hoods for the 2005 Mustang, the Cowl Inducted hood, Extreme GT and OEM carbon fiber hood. All hood are made from lightweight carbon fiber that is likely to shave about 40 lbs from the weight of the car. The Extreme GT hood is also known as the heat reduction hood because it helps to cool the engine. The Cowl inducted hood raises up 2" to help create space for a supercharger on the engine.
