Successfully, under the brand name Scion, these hip new vehicles made landmark sales in thier first year with the XA and XB, followed up in 2005 by the TC. The Scion vehicles quickly grew in popularity in the sport compact world creating cult favorites in the process. This year, Chevy picked up on the trend and has begun to unleash its own line of youthful inspired vehicles for the 2005 and 2006 model years. First came the Cobalt, which replaced the Cavalier, and had instant success in following where its predecessor had left off. Enter the 2006 Chevy HHR with its bold and striking styling. The new HHR partly resembles a 50s style sport cruiser, following the recent trend of resurrecting nostalgic hits from the past. The HHR also brings SUV styling into play, with Hummer H3 like fender flares. The Chevy HHR LS and
LS1 (the base and mid models) is powered by a LS and 1LT models are powered
