CIVIC Carbon Fiber Hoods

Companies such as VIS Racing, NIN Autosports, Extreme Dimensions, Carbon Creations, Seibon and more have developed stunning carbon fiber hood designs.

The industry leading manufacturer, VIS Racing, retains a dominant hold on the carbon fiber industry. Vis Racing has made a name for itself by providing products made from high modulus carbon fiber weaved to perfection. These hoods are finished by a urethane clear coat that gives the hood a glossy look. All VIS racing hoods also come with an OEM latch and fiberglass underbody reinforcement skeleton to give these lightweight hoods more stability.

In 2003, based on the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO7, VIS Racing released the EVO style hood with two top mounted induction ports.This hood has been the top seller in the Civic category until recently when the GForce style hood was released. The GForce style hood is manufactured by TCS, and is branded as the Supersport and the VStyle hood by other companies selling the same type of hood. The Vstyle hood looks similar to how it sounds with a VShaped forward cowl induction port.
