Shipping

Why is it more expensive to ship to a residence?  Majority of our shipping is delivered by a freight truck. Due to the size of the trucks, the shipping company prefers not to travel on smaller residential roads. The shipping company thus charges an additional charge whenever the destination is to a residence.

Why can’t I get my shipping charges back?  All shipping charges are paid to the shipping company, thus we do not return or refund any shipping charges that has been used.

Do you provide COD? No, all purchases are made on a pre-pay bases. Orders must be paid in full before they get processed.

The driver is at my door step, what should I do?  Check the package and its contents for any major damages. If the products are all there sign the bill of lading. If any damages or problems are found make note of it before signing. Your products are insured and leave our warehouse in good condition, therefore if you sign for your package than we are not able to file a claim for you. Please note that it is your right to inspect the parts before signing them in.

Are your products insured during shipping?  Yes, all our products are insured during shipping.

Do you do any kind of express shipping?  Since all our shipping is done by freight, we do not provide express shipping, simply because it is too expensive.  Most items are shipped in a 5.5'x5'x2.5' container which is too large to send by UPS, USPS or Fedex and must be sent on a freight carrier.

How come I can not get a shipping quote for Hawaii, Alaska, or anywhere out of the U.S?  Simply because shipping to outside of the US varies according to the destination. If you are interested in getting a price quote, please contact our sales department for an over the phone quote. Be sure to have the full address ready. For some international countries we can only ship to your nearest port, so please have ready your nearest port.  Please note that our free shipping on body kits does not apply to any destination outside of the continental US.

I received part of my order where is the rest?  Due to the possibilities of back order, some orders will be fulfilled as the products come into our warehouse. In such cases we will send what we have first and send the rest later.

I got my order and I signed for the product, but now I noticed there damages to it, can I return it?  If at the time you received the products no signs of damages were noted down on the delivery bill, the products cannot be returned. Once the package is received and signed as clear by you, our insurance with the shipping company is voided. You can however, make a claim with the shipping company directly. This does not mean that you will not get your claim, only that Extreme Dimensions will no longer be responsible for your claim.

Installation

Do you guarantee fitment?  Due to the nature of fiberglass, we do not guarantee fitment. All our products are made to the closest OEM standards possible, but since they are all hand made differences can occur. Also with the vast possibilities of why products do not fit perfectly, such as accidents, heat, poor installation, etc, it is very difficult to guarantee perfect fitment. Our recommendation is to find an expert installer who has experience with installing fiberglass body kits. A good installer will be able to make any alterations (which are usually necessary) to the kit to give you a show quality finished product.

Who should I have install my body kit? Fiberglass body kits are used in 95% of the body kits on the market because of several factors: Lightweight, cost efficient, holds paint well, repairable and can be altered. Fiberglass kits are relatively difficult to install therefore we recommend experienced installers. We would reccommend you to find an installer with extensive experience in working with fiberglass kits to help you achieve the best possible results with your kit. If your installer is weary of working with fiberglass, we would advise you to explore other options for an installer. Simply put, an installer that does not have sufficient knowledge in working with fiberglass is likely to not want to work with it.

Do I need to remove the reinforcement bar?  The removal of the reinforcement bar may be necessary for the fitment of our aftermarket products. In some instances the reinforcement bar may only need to be trimmed down for fitment of our products.

Do your kits come with hardware and instructions?  Some of our more common kits come with instructions and hardware. However, we still recommend having a professional body shop with experience in these products to perform installation.

Can I install my kit myself? Even though you might feel you have the experience and knowledge to install it yourself, we do not recommend for any of our customers to install the products themselves. Please be advised that our recommendation is to take it to a professional. If the body shop is going to charge you anything over $1000 to paint and install, you are probably better off finding another source.  Please also note that some body shops and dealerships are not equipped or experienced to install fiberglass and make the alterations neccessary to fit your kit. We recommend you to call around prior to or during transit of your kit to find an installer who has experience in the installation of fiberglass body kits.
