Buying aftermarket products for your vehicle can sometimes be a confusing experience to some of our new customers and we would like to share some of our thoughts with you in order to guide you along a little better on your path to creating your ultimate dream car. The first thing to note is that aftermarket styling accessories are made to give your car a different look and performance from the stock setup your car is fitted with. Many of the aftermarket parts on our site are made from materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber and urethane which are typically lighter than the stock materials used on your car. Fiberglass body kits are the most common kits on the market because they combine lightweight, low cost and can be repaired rather easily if damaged. Fiberglass also typically holds paint better than other materials. Although fiberglass is the most common and in many ways the best material to use for race applications, it typically requires alterations/modifications during installation for proper fitting. We strongly recommend that you find an experienced fiberglass installer who can do the necessary prep work and alterations to give your car that show quality look! Take your time to find a good installer and dont hesitate to ask them your questions and concerns. The second most important thing about your purchase is for you or the person who will be recieving your kit to inspect your parts upon arrival to make sure nothing was damaged. When we send out our parts, we make sure they are signed for as being in good condition. Occassionally parts may be damaged in transit and though your parts are insured, you must maker sure that you dont sign for them if they are damaged otherwise we are not able to file a claim for you, see guidelines below. Shipping
Most orders will typically be processed, compiled and shipped out within 3-4 business days, however some special order items may take longer, please look at the individual item information for a better idea of when your product will leave the warehouse. For an estimate on freight time to your location after your item ships out, click here. Certain items may be out of stock or on back order. In the case an item is not directly in stock in our shipping warehouse or from our distribution outlets, an email will be sent to you notifying you. Orders are not deemed active until funds are recieved, until then orders are considered pending. Vendor (Carbon-fiber-hoods.com, Body-Kitz.com, Vertical-Door-Kits.com /Sektor7 Media) reserves the right to cancel any orders deemed fraudulent or misleading.
International Orders: Currently we only ship to the USA and Canada.
Some products may be damaged during transit, although this rarely happens it is important to protect yourself in the event something may happen. Inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Do not accept a body kit until all pieces have been inspected. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a denial for damage claim. Once the package leaves our warehouse, it is out of our control so the following specific guidelines must be followed:
- All packages must be inspected in the presence of the driver.
- In the event that the driver does not let you do this, notify the driver that he must note it on the bill of lading that he did not allow you to inspect the item and contact us, no exceptions. (note: if damaged item is refused then we can forward a replacement once the damaged item is back at our warehouse before a damage claim settlement is issued to us. If damaged item is not returned to us, we can only send a replacement after we have been issued settlement from a damage claim.)
- All shipments are quality checked 3 times before leaving, please never judge a package by looking at the box condition.
- To get any type of credit, replacement or reimbursement, the damage must be noted on the bill of lading and refused so that we may be able to file a claim for you. If damage is not noted, it is the customers responsibility to file a claim.
- Please verify that you have provided correct shipping/contact information on your email confirmation. Once a shipment has left the warehouse, customer is responsible for any address change charges, re-shipping or freight line storage fees due to address/contact errors. Conversely, Bodykitz will be responsible for any fees incurred for a mistake on our end. Lastly, order confirmations are auto-generated and sent to the address provided. If you have not recieved an order confirmation, please contact us so that we may forward a copy to you at the correct email address.
Warranty/ Liability Disclaimer-
All products sold by Vendor are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. Vendor is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of these products. Due to strict regulations by the department of transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/ highway use. Removal of reinforcements, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. We will not be responsible for your own actions. Professional installation of body kits and body related parts ie hoods, fenders, grills etc is highly recommended. Hood pins are highly recommended for aftermarket hoods. Vendor is not responsible for any items damaged during installation. Vendor is not liable for typographical errors on websites or for misinformation supplied by manufacurers. All products sold by Vendor are sold “as is” to the customer with no warranty expressed or implied. Vendor does not offer warranty on any of the products sold unless warranted by the manufacturer. Installation Of Aerodynamics-
All aerodynamics are manufactured with 100% fiberglass, urethane, abs plastic or carbon fiber. Due to the material used in production, the body kits will not be a direct bolt-on. These body parts may require prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, or other extensive body work. These modifications may include removal or cutting of the reinforcement bars. By complying with our policies, customer understands the procedure and possible difficulty in installing the body kit. We HIGHLY recommend that a professional body shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Body kits off by extreme margins may be considered for replacement, see return policy. Carbon fiber hoods and other carbon products are hand crafted and laid with a high grade carbon fiber and no two items will be exactly the same. Due to the nature of carbon fiber material, very minor imperfections in the clear coat or fabric/pattern laying process may occur; these are not structural and will not affect the integrity of the hood and are considered normal. Bodykitz uses high end carbon manufacturers (Seibon, VIS, etc), and although alll items are inspected prior to shipment, any carbon fiber products that may present structural defects or extreme pattern blemishes may be considered for replacement at manufacturer discretion, see return policy below.

Return Policy -
GENERAL RETURNS: You may return any common stock items for a refund, credit or exchange by completing our Return Authorization Form within 7 calandar days of delivery. These include AIT Racing, BMagic, VIS, Seibon, Extreme Dimensions, VFiber/Vision Autodynamics, Carbon Creations, Greddy and TC Sportline brands. Shipping of our products is incorporated in to the pricing of our catalog items however shipping is handled by a third party therefore shipping costs to and from are non refundable. Any general returns will be credited with the purchase price minus any shipping fees. Returns will not be accepted on any items that have been mounted, altered, damaged or used in any way.SPECIAL/BUILT TO ORDER/IMPORTED ITEMS: Special order, Built to Order and Imported lines are non refundable. These include Vertical Doors Inc, JT Autostyle, Reiger, Wald, Wings West, JP Vizage, JOB Design, Veilside, APR, Kaminari, Bomex, RK Sport. REPLACEMENT OF INCORRECT ITEMS: If we have shipped you an incorrect item we will replace it for you with no shipping charges, please inspect your items upon receipt. You must notify us within 7 calandar days of delivery of your product by filling out our Return Authorization Form. An associate will follow up with you by Email and request a photo of the incorrect items to be emailed to us. DEFECTIVE ITEMS: Items are inspected thoroughly before shipment however occasionally an item may be found to be defective. Items deemed defective or body kits off by extreme margins as certified by a qualified installer may be considered for replaced at the manufacturers discretion. This does not include damage from shipping (See "Shipping" above). Please complete our Return Authorization Form within 7 calandar days of reciept of your items. An associate will follow up with you by Email and request a photos of the defective item. Due to prior cases of improper storage, handling or fraud we ask that all Return Authorization Forms for any reason must be completed within 7 calandar days of receipt, no exceptions.
